Hydrophilic Cotton Pad

It is a medical consumable prepared by placing hydrophilic cotton in the center of gauze made from hydrophilized, highly absorbent cotton yarn, with the edges finished so as not to fray or release threads.

It is used as a dressing pad in surgical operations, open wounds, abdominal surgeries, and postpartum care.

Non-sterile, sterile, X-ray, and non-X-ray varieties are available.

Non-sterile cotton pads must be used by authorized healthcare personnel with a sterile forceps or a disinfected hand.

If the cotton pad is sterile, it must be used by authorized healthcare personnel with a sterile forceps or a disinfected hand.
