Gauze compress is manufactured in sizes of 5 cm x 5 cm, 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm, 7.5 cm x 15 cm, 10 cm x 10 cm, 8 cm x 18 cm, and 10 cm x 20 cm, and in 4, 8, 12, and 16 plies.
It is used as a dressing material at the surgical site and wounds foreseen in non-invasive procedures following all surgical operations involving contact with damaged skin and damaged mucous membranes, or as a mechanical barrier for the absorption or compression of exudate.
